Try Technographics in Fort Lauderdale or Flounder Pounder Marine in Cocoa Beach. Technographics made many of the panels for Sea Ray and FP has many used ones available
Our Vetus stern thruster failed after 39 months. The bolts (2) that hold the drive unit together failed - the heads of the cap bolts sheared off. Has anyone has a similar experience? The repair was more than 5K out of pocket so I am not a happy camper.
We raised platform on our 580 Sedan Bridge by two inches toward bow and raised the back by 7 inches. Underway platform is now level and no longer scoops water

I guess the day had to come. Today I put my 580 on the market and will start the search for a boat in the 30 foot range. The 580 is a bit much as a day boat. We loved her and spent many an enjoyable summer in the Bahamas and the Cheaspeake aboard.
Good Morning,
We have a Sea Ray 580 and replaced our M5 with the HD7 which has worked flawlessly for the last 2 years. We have 5 TVs and also display our Simrad NSO thru the same TVs and can display TV on the 15" NSO displays.

We redid our whole boat with IMTRA replacement LED bulbs in warm white and blue. For NAV lights we used the HELLA LEDs units which fit perfectly. Also we have had no dimmer issues
Brian,
Good practise would be to isolate each battery and charge seperately (not parallel other than thru an Isolator). Typically batteries are not identical and charge at different rates. An exception of course is when the are in series. I also in my boat switch to AGM Odessey Batteries...
We owned a 1998 480 for 6 years. Went through one repower, had major failure while in Bahamas and one lost summer. Replaced turbos every 250 hours. Went thru about every recall know from turbo studs, and 3 generations of aftercoolers. So I am not a good 3186 reference. It is Sea Ray who...
We just completed a full upgrade of our electronics and seeing you are also in Daytona Beach I would be happy to show you what we did and what we learned from the experience. We removed dual SeaRay Navigators and all sorts of other gear, re-glassed helm and started over

After much research we are going with EZ2CY
Will be installed after 4th and will report back. We have about 15 panels of Makrolon and 10 are showing crazing. Our Barrett Glass (Raynier) center forward panel has no issues.
At best 5 years. Use very mild soap and apply polish
As recommended. We had Stratoglas on our 480 and got 5 years using
Scalise products as recommended
We had hoped for at least that out of the Makrolon and
No such luck
