Thanks. I am trying to determine when Sea Ray went to two wires on the sending unit. I have only only one. It may be one wire was only for certain models. If you remember exactly, it would be great to know. I realize stuff goes into the mental canyon after 8 years.

Please realize I am not here to convince people. I asked if anyone had this experience. I can't answer other than thru the ground system. It would take days to trace every circuit for the origination. But I will ask. Believe me. I want to know. Will do.

Please re read reply #68. My Master Electrician buddy handles Industrial electrical problems for BMW in Greenville, SC.. He spent a year in Afghanistan overseeing electrical installations for the defense dept. And, he owned a 1980 24 ft SeaRay before he went overseas.
