It looks like a no go with Dale’s Davits. Ie no response to a few requests so I who with the Hurley H20 they have great products and the extended Davits are removable quickly great for stern tying etc. they are by helpful and responsive. Good luck.
We have and love the 340 sundancer with long settee. Overall a great roomy boat. Plus V drives not out drives. Can’t go wrong and resale is very good. Good luck.
A simple but often overlooked is the shifter position. If off a tiny bit you won’t start. Look for something knocked off while doing your service as it is odd for that to be immediate after crawling around down there. I’ve had even good boatyards cause problems by accident. Good luck

I just re-spliced mine,rope to chain. Any Rigger or sailing shop should have someone. It is really a thing to practice a bit and not much different than an eye- splice. Buy a good Fid and practice.
You should never use automotive electrical parts. They aren’t ignition protected. Those are mercury engines not sea ray. You can very easily find the parts from them. Try to find the engine serial numbers and year and models. Also you can have it rebuilt or exchanged if you are in a good marine...
