Westerbeke 4.5 DCGB generator will only run with a load. As soon as the load is removed, the generator shuts down? Any ideas? I should also state that I can't start the generator from the switches located at the generator. It will turn over, but will not start.

I have a really stupid question....I just bought my 2000 310 and both radar arch lights do not go on. I see that it its controlled by the dash switch, however, the fixture itself looks as though it turns. My stupid question is how do I gain access to the bulb without breaking the darn fixture...
