Plug a transducer hole through hull

Hi Guys, what what you advise? I believe the hole is 75mm through 25mm ply hull, would you plug it with ply first, and how? Or, would you fibre glass it throughout the hole? I have to do this job before he goes back in the water, very soon! Advise appreciated, I can't make up my mind. Cheers, Tony.

    Alternator

Hi guys does anyone know what the standard alternator pushes out on a 1995 250DA? I think it might be 50 amps. Would this be enough to charge 2 x 110ah + 1 X 125ah and provide domestic power? Has an anyone upgraded their alternator? Any help greatly appreciated. Cheers, Tony.
