Hi Guys, what what you advise?
I believe the hole is 75mm through 25mm ply hull, would you plug it with ply first, and how?
Or, would you fibre glass it throughout the hole?
I have to do this job before he goes back in the water, very soon!
Advise appreciated, I can't make up my mind.
Cheers,
Tony.

I had a similar problem with my 25DA. I would find the carpet in the saloon wet quite often.
Two things causing it, the pump in the shower sump, although making a noise like it was working it was not actually pumping the water out, so it overflowed as the shower sump is not watertight, (strange...
So, it wasn't the mercathode module, it was mounted on top of the slave solenoid that was the click, not the trip.

Hi guys does anyone know what the standard alternator pushes out on a 1995 250DA?
I think it might be 50 amps. Would this be enough to charge 2 x 110ah + 1 X 125ah and provide domestic power?
Has an anyone upgraded their alternator?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Tony.
I see cheers Ike, I was running the engine and measured the charge at about 14.2 volts but still no lights after a while so I'm starting to think bank 2 are dud as well.
Lol Mike!
Yes Ike, that's what I was thinking bank 2 does seem to crank the engine over ok, but I have a dim cabin light and cockpit lights for a short while then nothing.
