Hey all, might be a longshot but worth a try.
I have a 30' '87 SeaRay Weekender 300, I need to find a dock, preferably behind someone's house in the South Florida area (as far north as Pompano, as far south as Miami). Thought it might be a good idea if an experienced boater would be interested...
I've attached a picture with a green circle of the window I'm talking about on my 87 Weekender 300. They're really dirty, plus both seem to have leaks.
I was wondering if it would be a good idea to just completely remove the windows, clean them and then re-install them.
If anyone has any...
I've attached a couple pictures of a boat that has similar color to mine. It is chalky, and basically ivory instead of white.
Can I make this look bright white and shiny, where you can see your reflection? Or is it a lost cause with this boat? How would I do that?
Thanks so much
As you can see in the picture, I'm planning on running a window A/C unit sitting like that. Been trying to figure out a nice-looking solution for closing the opening, perhaps with a door that rolls down from the top and sits on top of the AC. Wondered if anyone here had any ideas!
For anyone...
Thought I'd try my luck here. Purchased a 30' '87 Weekender 300 about a month ago, going to bring it down soon from the seller's house in Palm Beach. I have a marina in mind, but still been looking for a private dock or slip, say behind someone's house. Slim pickings on all the private dock...
This will probably be a stupid question, but opened the engine compartment on my '87 Sea Ray Weekender 300 with twin merCruiser inboards and saw that that shiny black hose in the pictures is disconnected on the port engine but connected on the starboard engine.
Wondering also if that might have...
I have an '87 Weekender 300 with twin merCruiser 5.7L fresh water cooled straight inboards. This morning I was practicing docking (new boat owner!) and the port engine stopped shifting into forward gear. It still shifts into reverse just fine.
Mechanic is coming out tomorrow, but wanted to ask...
Wondering if anyone has done this or if anyone has ideas on solutions for replacing the ugly carpet on the headliner of our cabin to make it look modern.
Thanks for any advice!
