I went from a SS 3 blade Mercury Vengeance prop that came with my 200 Select to a High Five prop. I have seen no difference in handling. I get a better hole shot and give up top speed. I went from 51 mph to 47 mph. That is fine for me because I seldom run the boat at WOT.
Finally after the fault returned. My mechanic cleaned the sender. I noticed that just after calibration the trim gauge and the Smart Craft were not reading the same. After opening the sender and cleaning everything is fine. I have been out several times with no problems.
I have a 2007 200 select with the 5.0MPi 260hp and Alpha One. I use it mostly for water sports. It has a good hole shot when pulling skiers. Mine came with a 19pitch Vengeance prop. I cruise 32 mph GPS at 3500 RPM wit my family 4 and all our gear. The boat is a little sluggish with 8 people...
I just replaced the one on my 200 select, its probably the same one. The factory part is an Attwood SL36-40-1. The specs are 17.2" extended 10.2" compressed. 40#. I went with a 50# replacement. It does a much better job.
It is finally fixed! It was a calibration error. I tried to calibrate the trim myself, but did not do it correctly. After Marine Max left Allatoona Lake, I tried some one new, and they did not have a clue. I searched old post on csr and found a list of mechanics that were recomended on...
I finally got my boat back and the problem was a poor connection in the wiring harness. My mechanic said the jack plug was together, but not locked. He used some dielectric grease and put it back together. I am going to the lake tomorrow for a test.
Today was my first time out this season and my first problem. My smart craft gauge is showing a Trim Fault. The power trim works fine, but the analog trim gauge shows full down, and the smart craft gauge shows 0.0 . Where should I start?
I installed StarGazer Wake Edition. I have had no problems with satellite reception at all. I put the antenna on the dash. It is nice to have gps speed readings too. I have Smart Craft Gauges and had to buy an adapter because when I removed the Speedometer the harness was not long enough to...
