Just a follow up FYI. I finally had a chance to get in there with a caliper to measure the packing nut. It's 2.90" so I bought a 3" tool. I presume the DA has the same shafts/nuts as the EC.
A part number for the whole boat? Pretty sure you just listed it. =p
FWIW, this thread is specific to 400/410 DA/EC's. You probably need to search out a different thread/group to get a good answer to your question, whatever that may actually be. Or just hit up fpmarine dot com.
How did you get a wrench in there? With the battery support on the stbd side and generator platform port I just don't see how? Maybe I just need to give it a try?
Anyone happen to know the tool size for the rudder packing nuts? I'll need to find a crows foot or something to get in there and it's past due. Bilge pump running daily isn't a comfortable feeling! TIA.
(And yes, I know I'll probably have to replace the packing, but hoping to limp through summer.)
My boat has been on the bottom of my slip several times due to the combination of tide and wind. We have a nice, soft mud bottom here, so it's no big deal. No damage to the running gear at all. The type of bottom has as much to do with safe depth as your boat's draft. I've idled out of our...
There are a couple things wired direct to the batteries by the factory including CO/CO2 monitors, bilge pumps, and possibly (not sure) the shower box. If you've had any electronics replaced, then there's honestly no telling how it might have been wired as well. The best way to keep the batteries...
Yeah, I need the arms, not the wipers. I did find that site previously, but I don't know which interface type to buy and there's 4 types (dry/wet knurled, dry/wet drum).
Out of left field here, maybe, but does anyone know how much 5/16" chain can fit in the anchor locker? I've got a 550' drum. I feel sure that 200' would fit, but does anyone have that or more in there? (Yes, I'll have 20' or so of rope to cut off in an emergency, and yes, I have a 30' rope...
First post. Have been lurking for a bit. Bought a 2000 410EC in April. Thought I'd drop in and to share that the boarding ladder can be a pain to find parts for. It was made by GG Scmitt. If you need the sliding pieces, it's available directly via kit part number L08E3105.
