    Thanks Bill, I agree going direct with 50 amp is the best. If I understand you correctly I should purchase Y adapter to hook into my onboard 50 amp cord and 2 30 amp cords to hook into 30 amp hookups. Are you saying I may have had 120 AC it just didn't show on my panel?

    We purchased a 1998 Sea Ray 450 Sundancer and when we tried going from 50 amp cord dock hookup to 30 amp pigtail to 30 amp cord we didn't have any AC power to the boat. I checked all the cords for power to the boat but electrical panel showed and didn't have any power. Our boat only has a 50...
