look into 3m di-noc films.... we used a wood grain down underneath and the stuff is impressive.... seems to be a very forgiving vinyl to work with also!

i am going to tackle this project asap! thanks for sharing. looks gorgeous... we tried running foam board wrapped in upholstery with an led strip in those spots last year and the damn things wouldn't stay up!!! yours looks like it left the factory like that

These turned out gorgeous. So far we have reupholstered all of the seats in the cabin and the bench seat on the deck of our 290. The chaise lounge style and captains chair seem a bit ambitious but we are going to be taking the plunge this weekend...

It looks beautiful!!!! Really great work! My hubby and I also have a sewing machine on the boat and ended up booting a cabinet on our 290 and opening the seating up in the V. Your photos look oh so familiar to our house this past winter!!! And Sea Ray doesn’t play around with the staples do...

Ordered about 80sqft and we have some left over... here’s a pic of starboard side... we removed the pullout sofa.... I don’t know why this photo is upside down. Sorry about that !

Looks quite sloppy in these pictures, nothing is attached yet and there’s still a lot of work to be done but, yes the V is sooooo big now!!

thanks.. after a year of owning the boat we finally just figured out the mirror opens up to a storage cabinet lol we popped that off and took down the wall that the thermostats was on to extend the seating in the front V... I’ll have to see if I have a picture. Hubby made a seat to fit right...

You have to unscrew the plate in the back of the drawer.. two screws if I remember correctly... it’s shaped like an L bracket to ensure drawer isn’t pulled all the way out!

We are currently refacing all cabinets and doors in the cabin of our 290 dancer. Went with a dark wood grain from 3M Dinoc. Very sharp.... Here’s the problem.. The tambour doors were ugly to begin with, but now they are really really ugly next to the vinyl. Sigh. They scream 90’s!!! Has anyone...
