This appears to be a common problem on the 400DB"s. I have the same leak on mine as well. Do you have the Taylor Made P/N for the trim, and where did you order it?
Thanks. I'll see if I can find them and mark them for next .change out. I'm surprised there is not a diagram, YouTube, pics somewher . My manual does not even designate them.
My boat yard tells me that Sea Ray does not like shaft zincs. I would like to put them on anyway. Do you know if you need to have a hole in the shafts to mount the zincs?
I've seen quite a few posts on engine zincs, but I'm looking for a diagram of where they're located. Thanks so much for anyone that can post or direct me.
Jason, this is one part of the 400DB that Sea Ray missed the mark. The port rudder seal is extremely difficult to access. I just had my seals replaced at the boat yard, and they had to employ a very thin contortionist to do the job. He just had to pull the batteries.
