I will do that, Oil is cheaper than a new Drive or bearings. I may take it to my local mechanic and have him go through it this winter just to make sure everything is O.K. Was looking at Bravo threes on E bay, I might be able to get a used one for under $2000

Just got a call From Merc and it is a 2.2. Went to drain the fluid and all that came out was water. The hose between the drive and transom came off. Lube out water in. May have to replace it.

I was thinking 2.2 also The number on the side was painted over with bottom paint. Tried to scrape it off. I have a call into merc. which is local here in Wisconsin.
