    Shift Cable Replacement = EB450

Looking for input regarding shift cable replacement. My starboard cable is very hard to move compared to my Port side and seems to be getting more difficult as time goes on. Has anyone replaced such a cable and if so can you pass on along input? One would think you could snake one to...

    Express Bridge Rendezvous

We had a 350EB for 3 years and loved it so much we moved up to a 450EB. This is our 4th season with the 450. The walk-through on the bridge and the open layout below are key. Plus......it looks like it's going fast when it's sitting still!!

    Express Bridge Rendezvous

A rendevous would be nice but lower Potomac may be a bit of a long haul. We are located on the Bohemia River at the top of the Bay just before the C&D Canal. I think it would be great to have a thread for EB owners. We have a '99 SR450 EB and we are in season 4 with it. Our prior boat was an...

    Water intrusion in engine compartment

We have a 450 Express Bridge. Water seems to get into the engine compartment on both the Starboard and Port side that do not drain into the bilge and need to be pumped out. This happens after a rain but cannot find the source. Water collects above the prop shaft towers and along the side of each...

    Snow

SNOW???? 54" in one week in a place that I moved to because it doesn't snow???? It was a sad wake and funeral at Bohemia Bay Yacht Harbor, MD where we keep our baby. Roughly 38 boats (40' to 50')buried under a collapsed roof. We lucked out by getting out in time on the next dock. Others...

    Jabsco remote spotlight

We had that same problem with our 350EB last year. It was the control switch with the toggle. We had a real problem getting the correct replacement switch. Just happen to be walking the aisle at West Marine and found it in stock. We were shocked! It was about $125.00 but it fixed the problem.

    Removing Washer/Dryer for extra space?

We bought our 450EB this past June from the original owners and the washer dryer had been removed from the 3rd stateroom. It made a perfect space for a beer refrigerator and freezer. That certainly comes more in handy and gets a lot more use! It fit perfectly and holds more than a 30 pak and...

Is you spouse capable of driving your boat?

My wife has been in boats all her life and will take the wheel on a long trip. She has no interest in approaching the dock or manuvering close to others. When I asked what would happen if I had a heart attack, she said I will call on the radio and get us as close as necessary for help. I am...

    Lake Winnipesaukee booked for July

After reading some of the other replies, it looks like some things may have changed such as laws and available navigation equipment with good Winnipesaukee info since 2000. One thing that I'm sure has not changed. Remember, it is easier and cheaper to churn mud than rocks! :smt001

    Lake Winnipesaukee booked for July

I lived in Moultonboro behind Trexlers Marina for 25 years and ran a 24' Sea Ray Sorrento until moving to the Chesapeake Bay for a longer boating season in 2000. If nothing else, the lake level is critical, not bad during July as long as it was a decent winter. The rocks and markers are...

Starting in 1987 with the following: 17' Bow Rider, 19' SRV, 20' SRV, 24' Sorrento, 35' Express Bridge with twin 5.7's that...
