1) I noticed that my trim tabs don't move at the same speed
2) one of them goes down further than the other.
Is that common? a faulty hydraulic...

Question on AC unit.
With the boat sitting in the slip, can the AC be turned on with the seacock open for water intake?
Wondering if the water gets pumped in to cool the unit or whether the boat needs to be in moving
so that the water gets in through the seacock.

I see the 4 way junction box that has the engine data line going into it and then the Gateway line on the other side.
I reckon the gateway line then goes to your Simrad.
Trying to get the arrangement.
Engine --> Junction box
Junction box --> Gateway ---> Simrad
Where did you get the line...
Are you using a 4 port junction box?
If so did you have to use a terminator plug for the empty unused port for it to work?

SC does not come on..
It should be possible to have both Garmin and SC on at same time right .?

Finally got the Garmin 942 connected to my engine. Love getting all the engine data on the Garmin screen..
I wanted to have the original Smartcraft and dash gauges also display, so I got the correct connector and connected the Smartcraft to the Junction Box and it still does not come...
I have used trim tabs before but with the 260 it was a whole new learning experience. If I used them for getting on plane and for some reason I was a little off balance with the trim levels, the boat would either plow or list so much that I would have to lessen the throttle... etc...it was truly...
