Over the years we have known a number of couples who had boats in the 50'+ range who went back
down to 40'+. The common reasons are handling a boat that size for a couple and the inability, here in the
Sacramento delta, to go anywhere you want due to draft concerns.
I am going to change the anti-freeze this week in my 8.1s. I forgot to grab the owners manual for the engines before I left the boat last Sunday. :smt021 I looked online and here and can not find the answer to the question: how many gallons of anti-freeze for the engine?
Thanks!
Best,

Over the years we have known a number of boaters, not just SR owners, who had boats in the 50'+ range and sold and went back to the 40'+ range. they found it was to much boat for a couple. to much to handle, berth, etc.

Last weekend I noticed that one of the white covers on the headliner above the front windshield was missing. I looked in the parts manual and it does not show that part.
The part I am referring to is above the front windshield. There is a white padded liner and to hold the liner in place are...
I mis read your original post :smt021 We had water on the carpet between the bed and the port side. Replacing the freshwater inlet cured the problem for us. As mentioned above you need to remove the back panel of the hanging locker on the port side.
my 390 my parts manual lists part # 141168...
I've been to AK a number of times and like the attitude of those who live there - independent and self sufficient - good for the guy in the hovercraft - I sure hope he prevails :smt038
Dan - I was always under the impression they drained to the shower sump in the bilge. I was just looking at the parts manual for the 390 MY - to confirm my impression - and it is not clear where they drain. Hopefully someone else can confirm they drain to the shower sump or some other proper...
I am noticing my rudder indicator is showing the rudder several degrees to port which is new to me. I looked at the owners manual for the power steering system, Sea Star, and it shows filling it at the steering column.
Is it simply a matter of unscrewing the cap and adding more fluid or is...
kkalsch - I recently had to replace a port hole on my boat. I was told that sea ray did not have any in stock and the manufacturer was no longer making them. Which surprised me since my boat is a 2004 and the portholes look pretty standard.
