Hi folks.
It's been a while, but I thought I'd check in.
My 2005 closed system cooling 300 Sundancer has been in the salt water for 8 seasons now, from 2006 to 2013. I've still only got about 100 hours on her, as she's more a cabin than a cruiser, and we use our small boat allot more.
Water...
We use our mooring cover in the spring and fall to keep the baot covered when it isn't shrinkwrapped.
And it gets dusty and dirty.
It's very large.
What methods do you use for cleaning yours?
I have a Zenith TV with a 15" screen in the cabin, and rather than use a converter box, I'd like to get a TV with a built in digital tuner.
The cabinet cut out is 15-1/2" wide, by 14" tall, and the TV depth is 2-15/16".
Having checked on-line, and measuring TV's in the stores, I haven't...
HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY!!!! I CERTAINLY DID -

Does anybody else find it not only annoying, but also rather insulting, when a person, with probably 5 or less posts, writes and asks questions, but does take the time to add punctuation marks, such as periods, commas, question marks, or capital letters, etc., and just runs on and on, not to...
Hello to all,
I am looking to purchase one of the hand held temperature sensors, the kind that you point towards a surface, and pull the trigger, and obtain a digital temperature reading.
I pose the question here because I want to buy a quality tool, at a fair price.
Thank you in advance,
After servicing my twin 5.0 engines, we were able to drain approximately 3-1/2, or more likely 4 quarts of oil from each engine, including the filter change. After installing 4 quarts, the dipstick read full, or more precisely, at the top of the "OK" range.
The manual recommends 5-1/2 quarts...
After a long winter's sleep, with the batteries removed, my Smartcraft fuel gauges now read empty, on both tanks.
The only fuel gauges are on the display itself.
Is there a reset after battery removal?
Seeing as this is the best boating website, by far, and allot of our members are also interested in woodworking, I'd like to pose the question:
What forum for woodworking/furniture building could I go to, that compares, ( or even comes close :smt101 ) to the expertise on this forum that we all...
In that we specifically purchased this style cruising boat rather than a fishing boat so as to keep the better half very happy, we are at a loss for a good place to store 4 - 5'-6" fishing rods.
On our previous boat, we were able to mount rod holders in the bilge, but that does not...
I have found an internet archive of the SRO site:
http://www.archive.org/index.php
Just enter in "www.searayowners.com" in the search field.
Apparently the site changed in the begining of 2005 and the pages could no longer be archived - but stuff from 2004 is still there.
Maybe the...
Just wondering if it would be possible to link our entries and threads to our own "spell check", as in Word or Outlook Express.
No doubt, everyone has one or the other, and quite frankly, my spelling skills have diminished with time. :smt024
Thanks in advance...
Looking for recomendations on Isinglass cleaning and Storage.
Used a few products over the years, and never really thrilled with any of them. I know someone has the magic formula on what to use and where to get it. Looking to clean the dirt, without clouding or scratching, maintain the...
Hello to one and all.

Thanks to one and all for making our previous dock the outstanding site that it was, and we look forward to spending quality time with you again.
Jim, thank you for providing us dock space...
