My 2000 has the AC on top ignitions on bottom.

Got through the survey. Impellers need replacing, windlass not functioning, genny producing black carbon, control on spotlight, and fire suppression need certification. Owner dropped price to cover repairs. Bottom paint needs repainting. All in all pretty good survey for 19 year old boat.

Replacing the lowrance hds5m with a new unit. Would you use garmin, lowrance or raymarine? Would use install a in hull, thru hull, or transom mounted transponder.

The boat ran great. Topped out at about 4200 rpm. Bottom hasn’t been cleaned in a while. Will see how it does after the bottom survey. Is there a secret to opening hanging storage?

I have been hanging out for a few days. Taking a sea trial on a new to us 2000 Sea Ray 340. The survey is Tuesday. Looking forward to spending time on it with the family.

That might be the case. All the 2000’s i have seen are white with stripes of color. The stripes are blue as well as the canvas.

I got the original build specs from Sea Ray. It is the 7.4L 380HP Horizon motors. The original specs indicate the hull color is blue. But the boat is definitely white. Sometime in it’s life it was painted. Should this be a concern.

It has been in freshwater and the same lake for most of it’s life.

The broker says it is the 8.2L 375hp. The brochure says the option was a VD-T-454 Mag MPI Horizon MerCruiser® (T-380 hp - 283 kW) The serial number search resulted in: 454 MAG MPI HORIZON/MIE 8.2L MPI
