    Sundancer 300 Cavitation?

It very likely could be ventilation. Pardon the Same. Don't even think about trimming it up. Tabs only, and I do throttle up with them fully down.

    Sundancer 300 Cavitation?

Set up is 2004 Sundancer 300. Twin 5.0 MPI's, Bravo III outdrives and 22 degree dual props. Boat seems to have a cavitation issue. The boat is under powered in my opinion with the 5.0's and certainly with more than 4 adults, full fuel, etc. Has always had a difficult time getting on plane...

    Grinding sound in V drive

Sundancer 320 2002. Made the trip to WI from MI. Friends boat is having a grinding noise when put in gear on the starboard side. Not when at idle but as soon as put in gear. Talked to folks here who thought engine. Replaced distributor cap and all plugs. Still there. Cutlass bearing? Trying to...

    Head System Odor

2004 300 DA New to cruiser style boating and head systems.... The cockpit area gets a strong and foul odor when the head system switch is activated. Typically leave it off unless someone needs to use the head but once it’s turned on, the smell immediately returns. thoughts?

Sundancer 300. Won’t get on plane.

Has been this way since I’ve owned the boat....both before and after outdrives. I can reach the RPM once I break plane but I’m fore sure going to consult with my local prop shop.

Fresh water. No boat has been used quite consistently.

Sundancer 300. Won’t get on plane.

All good feedback. Props are p22 but yes BIII drives. Both engines run similar and I can get the rpms once on plane. When the boat starts coming over the top to plane though, the rpms do come up a bit and it sounds like some cavitation possibly. There is a highly regarded prop shop near me...

Sundancer 300. Won’t get on plane.

2004 Sundancer 300 with twin 5.0’s. I know this the the standard engine setup and the boat certainly isn’t overpowered. But, if I have full fuel and 6 adults on board, I can’t get the boat on plane. Literally drove for 2 miles last night before the right wave combination set me up to gain some...
