I checked the chart again and the main shipping channel north into Lake Huron is on the US side. We avoided the Canadian side because there are a few 8' and 6' shoals over a generally shallow depth.
Good ideas. We also usually have power squadron flag so people think we know what we are...
Canadian in Yankee waters
Had a fun experience on May 24/Memorial weekend. Left Grosse Pointe in the morning and checked into Canada Customs at Sarnia after paying a painful tax bill on our new to us 52 Sedan.
Fantastic day with Lake Huron almost like glass, we headed north out the main...

I got this in a Russo Marine Newsletter. Looks like Sea Ray has started a make over of the Sedan Bridges, this would be the next generation of the 400, 42,44 etc. It reminds me of the styling of the 75' they were proposing a couple years ago.
On our 2001 400 Sedan Bridge the fluxgate compass was mounted on the inside wall of the storage compartment under the bunk in the guest cabin which is closest to the boat's centreline.
We owned a 2001 400DB with Cummins and a westerbeke Genny from 2005-2010. Bought a model with Cummins because of Cat stories at the time and rumored resale value. Bought and sold well on that boat. Great boat and was always totally dependable in all conditions, ran great and I still love it...
Answers to questions:
1. Sirius remotes -We set up the Clarion system to act as the remotes and connected the Bose system so we only pay one Sirius subscription. Now tired of the 3 Sirius channels that we actually listen to so will probably cancel.
2. Bose system in forward cabin - I set...
We purchased a 2006 52 Sedan Bridge this spring and have really enjoyed the boat and getting to know all the systems. One by one I figure things out and have a few questions that may be common with other SeaRay models:
1. Sirius on main salon Bose system- is there a remote for the clarion...
We surveyed the boat last Monday with Bob Bevans who was extremely thorough and knowledgeable and a very nice guy. I contacted Doug Gorham of Gorhams Diesel and he did the mechanical survey and follow up, good guy. The boat checked out great and we closed the deal on Thursday. Platinum Yacht...
Have a deal pending survey etc on a 2006 52 Sedan Bridge and looking for any recommendations on surveyors in Boston from any local Sea Ray owners. Thanks for your help!

The bridge cover will fit over the helm chairs (in the lower position) and there are a couple of tent poles (look in the dinette storage) that fit into the "reservoir tips" to keep the proper slope for drainage. You may have to remove the bridge dinette table to make one of them stand properly...
We had the same issue and I solved it when the canvas was redone. The panel which snaps inside the step was made a little longer and a 2" band of Seamark sewn inside so it won't get wet if it touches the deck. A snap was added on the side of the cabin just ahead of the step so the canvas no...
Sorry for the long delay but finally got photos and thought that this may apply to others with the old recessed Panasonic TV's.
I removed the old TV and made a door panel to fit the exact shape of the cut out with 1/2" black starboard.
Inside the bottom of the cut out I made a 2" black...
