    How do I remove the interior transom panel ?

    If it is the same setup as my 1987 250 Cuddy, there are several 3" screws along the top edge of the panel that go down into the front edge of the live well. There already were holes through the vinyl on mine.

    Same issue with my 260 and screen in fuel line immediately before anti-siphon valve on top of fuel tank. Resoved this past weekend.

    Thank you so much! If you can get a picture of the engine cover with the seat removed, that would be great. There are holes in the vinyl behind the engine cover seat, so it appears that something was attached to the back panel. Is it hinged in some manner? Also, do you know why that back...

    Thanks for the reply. I've been there but the document they have doesn't show enough detail. I want to restore the engine cover and seats to original design and need a schematic or drawing to know how the engine cover was designed and attached to back panel.

    Silver0306, I bought a MerCruiser service manual on Ebay. It says that the wrench is a 3/8 inch allen wrench and should be torqued to 30 lb ft and does not mention lock tight.
