yeah, well gettting to the back of th key switch ha been very difficult and based on the circumstances, i really think its a plug or something to do with the back of the boat, engine area but i will check it SO,i did further digging and found that the gauges are part of the smartcraft system...

ohm btw, the gauge pod has the 4 gauges in 1 4" pod, oil, fuel, trim and temp- dead then the tach gauge has the mode button, all that is dead as well

i just put a new motor in my boat, 4.3 EFI and now the dash is dead, i checked all the fuses behind the console and the pack on top of the motor, all are good. i have good grounds to the fus bars in the rear and behind the dash. obviously i misses a plug but i am lost as to which plug i missed...
