I emailed merc with the serial numbers and they said I have the MEFI-3. That was what I was wondering. I purchased two of them so hopefully they ship soon.

It never had one in the first place so installed a used one. It doesn't sound too bad but you can defiantly hear it running. Almost sounds like whitenoise

What did you decide to do LED wise? When I get home I am going to measure out the bulbs and most likely going to go with these. If I don't like it then I only wasted a small amount of money...
