    340 SUNDANCER THREAD

Has anyone replaced all the cabin carpet in a 1999-2003 or similar 340 Sundancer and can give me a ball-park estimate on cost? Not looking to do vinyl plank at this time unless the cost is similar, just looking to get something serviceable that's not stained to get me through a couple years lol.

We are usually in very calm water, very sandy bottoms. Drop the anchor and 20-30' of line, walk the boat back into the shallow water, throw a small stern anchor off the back to keep it in place. I was in some crazy shallow water with my 290 last year (outdrives up) and realize those days are...

    Official 2003.5-2008 340 Sundancer Thread

Does anyone know if the draft listed on the spec sheets on searay.com is the draft as the boat sits in the water, or the maximum draft (ie. when trying to get on plane)? I figured it was as the boat sits at rest, but someone just told me it's the max.

    Official 380 Thread

Going to look at a 2000 380 tonight. Only concern I have for our family is the draft, the spec sheet on searay.com lists it at 44", but the 1999 is listed at only 32", and then the 2001 and 2002 are listed at 40" lol. We have 4 boys age 5-9, and a big part of our use is anchoring in shallow...

Agree! Hate the 3 seats, seems like a waste of space. I wish there was a way to custom build a used boat with all the best parts of all the models like you can with houses lol

Thanks Kevin, maybe I'll have to talk to you about the camper top in the future based on your signature line? I've considered finding one out of state as it seems I'm in a high-priced area vs salt areas. I probably should have done that over the winter but now that we had our first 80 degree...

Sorry, I'm looking at the 2003.5-2008 models only. 115k: Private seller, went and looked at this one. It looks brand new, no exaggeration. Cleanest used boat I've ever seen. 2003.5 with only 340 hours. Current owner of 8 years. Generator with 200 hours. Recent updated Garmin 7" GPS/Chart...

    Official 370 Sundancer thread

Looking at buying a 1995-98 370, but also looking at newer 380s, 360s and 340s. Would anyone be willing to share what they paid for their boat and when, including basic stats like fresh/salt water, hours etc? Trying to figure out depreciation expectation for the next 3-5 years of ownership...

Looking at 4 freshwater 340s, priced 115, 118, 119 and 129k. How much should I expect these to depreciate over the next 5 years? Trying to decide on this boat vs a late 90s 370 in the 70-85k range. Anyone willing to share what they paid 3-5 years ago, where they’re located, hours etc?

Agree with 4 boys aged 5-9, the lower swim platform is a huge plus for me. And I love the passenger seat on the 32, not sure why the 34 isn't the same (or any other model for that matter). What do you cruise at running 3800 and how much fuel do you burn? I'm guessing about .8-.9 mpg like...

Going to look at new boats today and have it narrowed down to a 2003-2008 320 or 340. What, besides price should be the determining factor? My buddy is selling an immaculate 06 320 with only 240 original hours, he’s owned it 3 years no problems. I can probably get it for 80-85k, which is a...

    340 SUNDANCER THREAD

I'm considering going to look at a 1999 340 that's for sale near me in Michigan. It's priced low ($45k), which tells me there is probably a lot of TLC needed. The biggest red flag is that it is from Alabama, and spent most of its life in salt. 1300 hours on the boat, 500 on the twin 7.4L...

Found a 98 near me that is listed for only 62k (gas engines, 500 hours), however, I can tell from the pictures that a ton of work is needed to get it looking good again. Can someone give me a rough estimate of the cost to replace all canvas/enclosures and all carpet? Also, what do you think it...
