New rudder ordered to match old one, two weeks wait time on that. I am hoping to be back on the water by the first or second week of February. Things move slow repair wise in North Carolina.

So I sheered off a rudder. For the direct replacement they want $2500 plus shipping for one. I can get two rudders for $2100. Only issue is they are 1” longer. Mine are 31 1/2” and the new ones are 32 1/2”. Shaft length is 1/2 inch difference. Do you think they would work?
