good thinking, I'll try that tonight when I get home. as to the install, anything is possible but for the life of me I can't see how it would pump water to only one side from putting in a new impeller
good morning,
over the years I have changed my fair share of water pumps in the foot of my outboards and
outdrives... I just changed one on the alfa 1 gen 2 while I admit they are a bit tricky this one went back in after a bit. when I started her up I was only getting water out of one side of...
thanks, guys, all good answers. the bellows are only 2 years old, and the boat has been in high and dry. this being my first bravo 3 I don't know if it reacts the same way as the alpha outdrives do. as the worst case may be pulling the engine out... I have never heard of a transom trim plate...
good afternoon, captains,
my new to me 1999 230 bow rider with a newer 350 and bravo 3 has a very slight leak,
how concerned should I be about this transom plate leak?
thanks for any help

I need to know it in order to get a ram set up to be able to lift the sun pad off the engine. It's the full sun pad.... the bride wants to be able to get in there in the event something...
good afternoon, all
looking to put a ram on my 1999 230 BR.... anybody knows how much it weighs or where I can look to see how much it weighs
any help would be great

sorry to get something started guys.... the previous owner install the flush kit at the transom and that's great if the boat is still in the water and easy to get at for flushing on the hard. that said, what flushes the lower unit? by hooking up the ears to the foot to flush where will it go and...
thanks, guys.... so, the next question would be--- how to flush this outdrive... there is an outside hookup at the transom, I am pretty sure I get that, simple hookup of the hose turn on the water fire up the engine and let run.... that done how would you flush the lower unit?
new to bravo 3 in terms of handling how do they differ with how you use them? After a test
trial, I have to say the handling of the boat was great. I was told that I have to treat the shifting of the bravo 3 different that the Alpha... any help that would be great....
thank you
