Wow, that ebay strategy is very aggressive - I like it!
I'm going to explore that because you raise a good point in that you might take a 10% hit but is it worth taking 10 months on yachtworld and paying a broker fee.
I'll just have to explore the ramifications of pulling the listing just...
I just talked to Hansen - He says that all the boats that went out turned back because it was just too nasty.
Joining him up at Houstons for a Beer right now.

Thank you very much - I'm wondering though if I'll have to go with somebody local in the Ft Lauderdale area as that's where the boat is. Any thoughts?
-Tim
Thank you Barry - I'll definitely consider that, but I always figured that to get on Yachtworld you had to be a broker, and from what I understand, Yachtworld was the best site out there for selling a boat.
I'd love to save the comms though if I didn't have to pay...

Hey all, thanks for the well-wishes, but I can tell you that this is a decision I make without an ounce of regret - my priorities are to my folks, not an object, but just the same, I thank everybody for their thoughts.
Sprink and Tom, I thank you very much for the recommendations, and I'll...
Well damn it all. My partner and I just got news today that one of our largest customers is on the verge of shuttering its doors for good.
This means that the large majority of our revenue, too, goes with them and therefore means that we have to start cutting costs.
Our employees mean far...
GD Murphy.
Just a quick update, Marine Max still has my boat torn apart and they're not going to get my VHF installed for me until early next week.
This means, I'll not be traveling over on my boat. Not the end of the world since a couple of you guys (thank you VERY much) were hospitable...
Wow, that's just shameful... Sorry to hear about that, Bill. Hopefully you can find a good deal on a radio maybe at the Boater's World bankruptcy sale. I saw a nice Raymarine unit a few weeks back going for around $350...

Hmm... I'd disagree because the mods or whomever they entrusted to be the gatekeeper would decide what is and what is not an FAQ. Although it's probably bad form to drive traffic to another forum, check out the link I posted initially and check out their tips&tricks/howto section. It's really...
Hmm... I think it's a judgement call by the moderator - but I'd have it so that you could 'tag' your post when you submit it for review by a mod, i.e. if you're posting a DIY, or maybe an anode chart.
Bill, I'd seriously consider revisiting your definitions of standards and quality, haha.
Joking aside, thanks for the compliment - I operate from the Walter Williams and Mark Levin schools of living.

Excellent idea - I actually go to a site for my car http://www.xoutpost.com/ and on that page, they have a how to tab and it takes you to all the various DIY's that have been done on the X5's. I've used that resource a lot since I'm mechanically retarded ;-)
It would be great to have a similar...
I personally never partake - it's just not interesting to me. But...
Do you really want the government having that much control over your lives where they tell you what you can and can't put into your own bodies? Drug laws, like all nanny laws, are devised from a bunch of lawyers sitting in a...
