    Hose clamp let go on the Port engine's raw water hose. Got it fixed and with water is all pumped out. Concerned salt water got to the bottom of the oil pan. Any suggestions on what to do to reduce future errosion?

    thanks guys - yes they are short screws. there is some stress related cracks on the hull too that you cant see in the picture. another project! :(

    Tricky Repair Project - Windlass

    Had the boat at anchor against some rough side-surf last summer. The force on the windlass bracket was side-ways and pulled a holding-screw right out of the hull. I am unsure of how best to repair this. Thinking just putting a fresh screw in the same hole wont last. Does anyone have thoughts?
