Does anyone have experience with removing cabin panels on these boats? I need to remove the port side panels above the dinette area.Cant see any fasteners . If anyone has experience with this any info would be greatly appreciated.

I am thinking that where the pitot mounts now would be an ideal plave to mount transducer. I replaced pitot last year,resealed holes seemed ok. I think i would run the cable straight up and through an enlarged water tube hole , seal it all with the good 3m 4200

Thats def more like I was thinking. since the garmin has boat speed built into it and the current speedo doesnt work very well I was considering using the hole higher up on the transome that the water tube grom the pitot tube runs through..id have to enlarge it of course..thoughts?

Trying to find the correct led bulb set up for the cabin reading lights on our 1990 sundancer? If anyone has info on this it would be greatly appreciated . The lightest I want to change have the push in and twist socket similar to the 1056 style bulbs on a car. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, I did not realize it thru bolted looks to be almost impossible to get to the underside of the platform to install the nuts.

Our 1990 270 da did not come with a swim ladder the original brackets are on the platform but I have had no luck finding the same original ladder. I purchased a 4 step collapsible style to replace the original . My question is what is the best way to secure it to the platform. Stainless lags...

I noticed today that I have no dash lights, boats new to me but I do recall having dash lights last year when I had it out . I see no switch for them, anyone familiar with the operation of them? I must be overlooking something? Thanks Royboy

checked and found 12 volts to it nothing on the other wire when float is lifted, thinking bad float.

1990 sundancer checking my bilge operation today I found high water bilge works properly, main bilge works only with dash switch, so I should look for a fuse for float operation? Thank

Thanks for the replies,I used a bungee cord from the prop to the top of the leg to hold pressure against it, worked like a charm, I clearly didnt look close enough at the tube to realize it was the shift shaft. Slid it together no problem.

I will try tomorrow, I believe that what I'm seeing is the intermediate shaft, it should go over lower housing shift shaft? not had any lunch uploading pics here.
