My reservoir is full, and disconnected and capped.
It was leaking last season, so my mechanic said just cap it off.
I would get the low fluid alarm last season when it leaked down. Same sounding alarm this season.
Strange alarm.
When I come off plane, I get a steady alarm for about 5 seconds. Not every time, but most times. I'm thinking temp alarm because now I'm not moving as much water and motor is hot? I can put my hand on both risers ( I just had new risers, elbows, manifolds, and outdrive rebuilt...
Anyone know off hand what size blower we have on our boats? Mine crapped out and I forgot to look at the size of the tubing.
Edit:
Found it: 1 BLOWER, BILGE 4" TURBO 4000 W/CONN
Mechanic said it was the actual starter.
Add to the list:
Transom assembly is shot. The outdrive has about 4" of side to side play. No wonder It would drift all over the canal at low speed. The previous owner drilled out the top and tried to tighten the nut to take some of the slop out of...
Pulled the boat out of the water this weekend. Same no start, dead battery symptom. Flipped the key back and forth 4 or 5 times and she fired up.
Noticed trim tab leaking when I got her on the trailer. Looks like what I hope to be an easy fix.
A little history.
I put my boat in the water, turned the key, nothing...
Just a faint click from engine compartment.
So I wiggle the shifter to ensure it's in neutral, try to start again, nothing.
I checked battery connections, they are tight, try ignition again, the boat fires up and runs...
Thanks Cliff, I don't know how I missed that!
Well, I don't use the factory depth sounder, it looks like it hasn't worked in a long time.
On a side note, I just got a Lowrance Hook 9.
I'm having no luck with an exact match on the part number listed in the manual. I need to replace a busted faucet. Are they pretty standard as long as the thread matches up?
Maybe I'm wrong, I don't boat at night.
But I think I have a switch like this:

That will turn on the bow nav lights with anchor light, or anchor light...
I don't think so. It's a single switch. I have 2 trim tab switches on the lower left of steering wheel that control the left and right tabs.
I'll grab a picture of the switch this weekend.
My switch labels are pretty faded. Just wondering about one switch. It looks like the profile of the boat. I thought Nav lights, but those come on with the anchor light 3 way switch. Anybody know the switch I'm talking about?
