Hi has anyone has removed their exhaust risers still in the water? It looks like the top of the y hose is well above the water line and I should be fine. Getting onto the hard is a pain mid season, I want to work on this at my dock. Thanks Mike

A bad Thunderbolt IV module can cause this as well.

It runs under the mid cabin bed, through the firewall and under the port side upper stringer shelf. Those compartments are foam filled and I can't remember if there was a conduit for the bilge hose so you could pull it through or not. I'll look through the pictures I have of my stringer...

I use Rotella T4 15-40 in my 86 5.7. Aside from the zinc content, the diesel oil has an excellent detergent package that helps keep these cooler running marine engines clean.

Good day everyone, I'm removing the steering pin from my late model gen 1. I've got the nut at the top of the pin off, loosened the steering arm and pulled the two bolts that pinch the bottom. I can't get the pin to lower out. Can I put a bolt in the threaded hole at the bottom of the pin...
