Ongoing problem. Snakes on the boat. I have not found one inside yet but they love to hang out on the transom, gunnels , etc. I am in NC and the boat stays in the water at my dock. Water moccasins and Copperheads are a concern. How the hell do I keep them off the boat!!

Our boat sits on a fresh water canal off the Trent river in NC. We run out to the Neuse River (salty but not as much as Ocean) then sometimes to the ICW (full salt). So when I return, my last several miles is in fresh water before docking. So am I good?....or do I still need to flush engine etc.?

On rainy days there are several spots of gelcoat discoloration on my top deck. On sunny days it is nearly invisible unless you look hard for it. Old damage repair?......or maybe factory hull mold defect?
