Sounds like you visited Peter Hurst... I've/we've been contemplating a similar plan and I agree with previous posts, a Sedan Bridge would be a better purchase as you would feel more comfortable with the above waterline roominess.

The 40DA can be found after you select "DESIGN YOUR NEXT SEA RAY" then once you chose your options you can't get to the electronics options unless you fill in your pers details. This is the page in question and should be deleted soon.

There's rumors about a whole new re-numbering of the Sundancer line-up for 2010, not too sure what happened to the 40, probably gone the way of the 44???
Nice site, looks more up to date, but what's with the requirement to give your personal details every time you check on boat prices??? I guess Sea Ray has some extra cash lying around to pay their web designers...
The 44 is a real nice boat, the second head is nice for guests on day trips etc.
BBQ/Grill - get one mounted on the swim platform, stowable in the transom locker.
Rear seat, they are nice, but you'll get used to not having one
