We recently bought an 8'6" inflatable dinghy. Anyone out there had experience in towing or using Weaver davits? Looking for input on the best method for transporting it.
thanks!!
Our first cruiser was a 260. Nice boat, but we should have listened to the salesperson when he was pushing us to get a boat with a broader beam. Expensive error.
We love our '06 320, but sure wish we had larger windows like the 2011 and '12. Is cutting the hull to put a larger window in the starboard side completely out of the question? Anyone ever heard of this being done?
As a former 260 owner I agree with what a couple others have said...it's all about the beam. The 260 is a very nice boat, but I grew weary of trimming every time someone moved.
Just my two cents.
We splash our new-to-us 06 320DA tomorrow and will be traveling downstream on the St Croix river to our marina. There's an old railroad bridge along the way. It's 17ft above the water. Will we clear it ???
Our new-to-us 320DA won't splash for a couple weeks. In the meantime I'm reading manuals and waxing. There's a lot to learn...and many little things aren't covered in the manual. For example: how do you release the plate covering the swim ladder???
