Sure. I am going to recheck mine as well this weekend. I also want to make sure the butterflies are opening and closing correctly. I also wanted to check the flame arrestors and the throttle bodies but according to the Mercury manual it looks like I would have to take the elbow off to clean...
Anybody have throttles that are uneven? My throttles are in the same position and are a balanced rpm at idle all the way down but as I start to advance them the starboard throttle lever is quite a bit ahead of the port lever to maintain the same rpm by 3200 rpm. Is that adjustable?
I recently purchased new ones but I have not put them on yet but it took a look. It looks like it would be difficult to get to the top of the seal without removing the porthole glass did you remove the porthole glass first or were you able to get the seal up at the top?
I don't know of the issues you speak of. My 1998 had a great survey. No moisture issues at all. There is a 340 next to me at the marina. It's a nice boat too but smaller inside obviously. No separate shower stall was a big no no for me. I don't like a wet head you gotta wipe down after...
Funny you mention a new boat and sticking with what you have cause the other day I went to the sea ray website. Biggest boat they seem to make is a 35 and the base price is 435k. I looked at the pics and I swear I like my 370 as much.
I have found the orange stains from sunscreen to be difficult to get out, especially on decks and on vinyl seats. I have found that Iron Out removes them easily. They just disappear when other things don't touch them.
