    Thanks. Apparently these guys who do this for a living understand the issue and aren’t surprised to see it. Although he did say he doesn’t see it on Sea Rays as much. Glad it’s nothing serious!!

    Just had the issue reviewed by the “local expert”. No big deal. Something with the epoxy adhesive between layers or something along those lines. Going to have them grind the sections and repair. Not structural. Went over the entire bottom of the boat.

    No water into bilge. Gelcoat is blue. They look bigger in the picture. About the size of a small nerf football

    There are 3. Mid-aft boat. Looks like under the engines. I read the 480 DB thread during my search and they said they are somewhat common.

    So this is the start of them being sanded back. The yard expert is reviewing them tomorrow.

    I went back and searched which is something I should have done before posting. Looks somewhat common. Going to have them sanded back and redone by a pro at the yard. also had both dripless shaft seals replaced.

    Hauled the boat replaced the zinc thru hull bolts and ground wire. Noticed a few weep holes in the bottom and looks like a few spots of delamination on the bottom. Has anyone had this issue before?

    I started loosing the top silicone elbow first and then realized that one of the lines on the fuel filters interfered with getting it off that way. Then I pushed the tube down into the lower silicone sleeve enough to get the tube out of the top silicone elbow. Then was able to pull the tube out...

    You are correct. It will be closer to 20k. 4K is what they are worth. $500 in materials. But hey it’s a BOAT....

    Joe, so you have ez2cy making nee rise glass based on cod’s templates...that’s interesting. You and I have the same boat so I could potentially make the eisenglass for my boat off the same template? That would save a headache. How much they whacking you for that $4,000 project?

    Gentlemen, The diver who cleans the bottom of the boat said the hull strainer for the engine intake is missing. I had the bottom painted in may. Guess they didn’t do a good job reinstalling. Anyway does anyone have a part number? as always thanks for the help. steve

I called them last year and asked if they could do my eisenglass and they said they would have to come out and measure even though their tag was...

    Done. Didn’t change the mains coming in. I might. Also one of the lines did NOT have a cone washer.
