    I doubt it had anything to do with sandbar but if your reservoirs were low you probably have a leak in bottle or line somewhere. Both are very common. Keep you eye on levels because I had one go dry and it cost me $6K to rebuild the drive.

    Just leave key in on position. Others are not buttons but fuses. I turn battery switch to off when I leave the boat which turns all DC off, so no need to ever turn key off.

    I have an '02 280, Phoenix boat and used Great Lakes to replace most of the top and windows. They didn't guarantee but it all fit perfectly, no issues. Normal wear and tear issues but no problems with the boat. I only have one engine and have no problem driving it. You'll love it.

    Thats a clean looking boat I'm sure you would have a lot of fun with. I'm with others, go for the largest you can afford because soon you will want a bigger boat. I have an '02 280DA that is a little bigger then than the new models, handles just fine with one engine so I wouldn't be worried...

    I leave my AC on all summer long on shore power. I turn it down Sunday night when we leave so it's not cranking bu still on like 75. My boat inspector suggested this. Keeps humidity and moisture down.
