If the leak can’t be fixed, it’s not much good to me.

My air conditioner needs service. By that I mean find the leak, fix the leak and recharge the system. I have been quoted a price of about $350. Does that sound about right? Also, what kind of warranty can I expect on this type of work?

What technique do you use to clean your vacu flush toilet? Water leaks out of the toilet and I believe the ball/seal is not working properly. I read where the ball may develop a buildup of mineral deposits thereby breaking down the seal with the rubber gasket. If this is the case then replacing...

I recently had my air conditioning hoses cleaned, and I was surprised to see such a large amount of barnacles. Now I am wondering about the cooling hoses to the engines and generator. How often do you have them cleaned as well?

My air conditioning system is working great, but what I do not like is when the compressor turns off the fan continues to operate. Is there an adjustment to where the fan will shut off and only run when the compressor is running?

Thank you for your thoughts but I do not believe it is losing its prime. When I check the strainer it is clear and completely full of water. Also when I disconnect the discharge hose from the pump I cannot blow through it. It is completely blocked from the pump to outside the boat.

One more thing. Once I get it working, it continues to work fine. It is only after I shut down the system for a period of time does it not work.

Great news - problem solved. I held a hose at full power to the side of the boat to backflush the system and turned on the system. At first only a little water came out, but after about 10 seconds it's back to normal. I suppose I should be concerned about solving the real problem, but I'm just...

I like your idea, but I live on a fresh water canal and flush out the system after each use.
