Yes the blue wire from the head unit and he says he has 12 volts there but not on the large gauge Red and Black wires.

Thank you Rand - I can see using them for unloading. I'm thinking of some LED interior ambient lighting. I just didn't want to blind anyone. I need to get the boat home so I can start 'fixing' things which is code for upgrading so the wife doesn't realize the money I'm spending. LOL

So you used these to replace the interior courtesy lights, correct? I have to imagine they were plenty bright. Coming from my old Ebbtide which designed the lighting to be dim and horrible, I am looking for bright but not 'sunglasses at night' bright. Thanks, Mik
