I hooked up the hose on the rear connect, turned on the hose and heard the water coming into the system for the starboard engine components, so now I at least know what quick connect goes to what motor. I let the hose run for about 5 minutes and did not see any water coming out of the exit port...
Hello again, I bought the boat from a boat dealer who got it from an auction, so I do not know who the PO is and the folks I bought it from said they had never seen that on the 330 and couldn't tell me how that flush system works.
It is indeed a closed cooling system with only anti freeze...
Its the clear/white line connected to the blue line. So a previous owner installed the quick connects and this is where they lead. Same setup on both engines/ports
Hello shipmates, we're back down in Pcola this weekend and I took lots of pics in the engine compartment. I found 5 Seacocks and I traced the quick connect water hose lines to a junction on both engines. The pics show where the lines go. The house lines are the clear braided lines in the pics...
I'm from Miami, but retired from the Air Force couple years ago in Alabama, so we've been diving and fishing in Pensacola and Panama City areas. We got snow twice this year, so stop throwing that stuff so far south...
Thanx Mike & Mila, I'll be down on the Gulf next weekend 9-11 Feb, and will look for all of that as well as take pics to post to make sure I get it right. I do have a Westerbeke 4.5, so I guess I'll be looking for 4 strainers & seacocks. It still seems pretty strange to me that it has 2 easy...
Thanx Todd, I appreciate that and the community. All of you are very friendly, courteous, helpful and obviously loves their boats. I didn't know I would be coming into a family. Awesome...
That's what I assume too Tom as that makes sense and that's exactly what the owner of that Luhrs 290 explained as he didn't have to do anything besides hook up the hoses and turn them on for 5-10 minutes with the engines off. But I've read some blogs/articles including this one that some closed...
I popped my rear seat and starboard seat out to check out the room, and I've ordered 4 rod holders to put in the gunwales and transom, so we'll see how she does. I have to determine if I will keep my 22' WA with tuna tower as my offshore fisher and my 330 as a cruiser & dive boat. Keep the...
Hi Alegria and thank you. The boat shop I bought it from said those are for fishing the components that do contact seawater and from I remember he said the heat exchangers and risers? Maybe there mixer elbows are part of that? I have seen those quick connects before on some other boats I was...

Hi again, I really appreciate the open communication, thank you again. So yes, the cockpit sink and cabin sink are direct gravity flow out of the port side near where the sinks are, the HVAC pumps out of the forward starboard side. I don't know about the sump pump yet nor the bathroom sink...
Thank you too Creekwood, as well as you Lazy Daze. I inspected the box in the floor with the sump pump but didn't know that's where the condensation went as well, good info. I watched all around the hull as we ran the the various sinks and equipment, but didn't see where the bathroom sink...
Thanks for the quick reply. There are 2 hose connects by the transom on the starboard side and was told by the boat shop I bought it from that those were for fresh water flushing of the heat exchangers. He didn't know if I just hook up hoses and turn the water on or off there needed to be...
Happy 2018 everybody. I am brand new to the community having just took possession of my 1st Sea Ray yesterday. The 1st few questions I have I just can't find answers on: My heat exchanger hose hookups are on the starboard side stern, but I don't know if there's a check valve, engines on, or...
