I have an 88 s24 sorrento. On mine the forward bilge pump is located under the stairs. Do you have the cooler storage compartment in the floor between the seats? If you do there should be a access panel that you pop out and its in there. It pumps out the water from the step drain and sink.
I have found a few rebuilt in the $5000 range but the reviews have me scared. I can fix it for around $4000 with a new lower but then I will be worried with almost 800 hours how long until the upper goes. The gears look good and it will have new bearings but there is always that in the back of...
Sorry it has been a while, been busy with work and the holidays. Has any one ever used Power Boats Limited? They seem to have a good price but have a lot of bad reviews. WV 320 Dancer do you know were he got the drive from?
The top half i can repair for around $500 and the cheapest lower half I have found is around $3500. Im hesitant to go with a reman lower because for what they cost and add the core charge it would cost more than new.
Need help finding the best price for a Bravo 3 lower housing assembly. The upper half I can repair with a few bearings, but the bottom half is junk. The gears bearings and shafts are all worn or damaged. Anyone know who has the best prices?
As a parent words cannot describe the emotions felt seeing events like this happen. It truly makes you wander what is really wrong knowing how things have changed.
While it was stupid as to how they went about this idea, I do have to say that it did take guts. I think that at one point or another we as fellow water lovers have all had this idea or dream. I know I have. I was joking with the wife about it last week. We either realized that we were not...
I went to check on mine. Smelled gas, found fuel leaking around the regulator on the fuel module. I removed the regulator and you guessed it, paint failure in the cool fuel module. Its not even spring yet and the boat bucks are starting to flow. LOL I did call Mercruiser and it sounds like the...
We usually stay at Battery Park Marina, but usually spend our time around the islands. Its a mix between fishing cruising and spending time at Put In Bay. When my brother and I go up to spend a few days fishing we always stop for lunch at Dockers. A cold one and the Polish Ruben always seems to...
Thanks for the pics. Now I wish I would have gone. I just wasn't impressed last year and didn't want to drive three hours just to be disappointed. Now I wish I had gone. The Cincinnati show was the same as last year. I was disappointed. I like looking at the cruisers and new gadgets or...
My two classics are a 1956 MFG with mahogany topside. The hull was one of the first fiberglass hulls produced. My second is a 1988 Sea Ray Sorrento s24. She only has 400 hours and is almost mint. It has always been garage kept, never spent more than a week in the water at a time. That was my...
Hello everyone! This forum has been a huge help the past few years in helping me handle all the little issues i have had with this boat. It has been a joy. This one has been by far the most fun to work with. It has so many features that you would not think could be on a trailerable boat that...
After owning this one for a year i was having a hard time thinking of a name. Then after walking to my barn and looking at the boats that i have inherited from my great grandfather to my fathers boat it just hit me. Being on the water has always been a family tradition, a tradition that I now...
Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum. I have spent my life on the water, from 12 foot john boat to the 260 DA I have now owned for 2 years. The last two summers have been some of the best times with my wife and kids on this boat. I have named her Tradition due to the fact that I currently own the...
