    Official 330 Sundancer Thread

I've had this issue, more than once. The drain line from the AC unit under the V berth gets clogged going to the shower sump. It over flows and fills those two compartments one by one. An air nozzle at one in should blow it out down into the shower sump. I used a shop-vac to vacuum out the...

    Official 330 Sundancer Thread

Congratulations! I'm running a '98 down here in Florida and love it. Bought it two years ago with 310 hours, and have definitely run them up since then. Enjoy it!

    Hurrican Prep!

I just went through Isaias last night. Face into the wind... last night was bumpy with aft facing north. As others have said at least double up the lines. I had two to port and starboard of the bow, two crossed off the stern, and two springs. Total of 10 lines. Over kill? Yes, but always...

May seem simple, but just checking. Have you checked the main battery switches under the helm? Maybe one is switched off.

    Repairing U-Line SP18 Ice Maker

I thought they did, but I've never had experience installing a compressor myself. Although, this may be a good practice for my AC unit that I think is starting to fail...

    Repairing U-Line SP18 Ice Maker

I replaced that same valve on mine, but in my case, it was stuck shut. Unfortunately after getting another year or so out of it due to the above repairs, my compressor died. I'm going to try to find an appliance shop around to replace it. Otherwise, I'll be upgrading to a better cooler in...

    Changing portlight gaskets

Creekwood where did you order your gasket and retrofit kit from? I'm looking at Go2Marine, and their website quotes 8 weeks out before they ship. Thanks!

    Floating office due to COVID-19

I’m in the same boat. I normally work from home, but my girlfriend is now doing the same. Rather than being stuck in the hotbed that Orlando has become, we have been working from the boat for the past few months. I’ve got a cheap printer and mobile scanner that have worked wonderfully with my...

Welcome aboard! Lots of good information and good people here! Learned alot about my own boat in the past couple years by lurking and discussion. Nic

    Engine Start Problems

Good luck! For what it’s worth, mine we’re also running along at 160 range without ever over heating. It was only after the engines sat for a bit that I would have any problems. Keep us updated on progress!

    Engine Start Problems

Flytrade, I had a similar (read almost identical) on my 98' 330. After a bit of trouble shooting, I came to the conclusion noted above about vapor lock. My solution was a multi-step approach. First, I checked my impellers, they were in horrendous shape. Replaced and back flushed the...

    Official 330 Sundancer Thread

I had a similar issue recently. I’m used to boating in Missouri versus in Florida. I hadn’t had the bottoms cleaned in far too long. Had a diver out. After two hours of scraping, it ran like a champ!

    Spot Light not moving

I got the PAR36 LED 18w. The shadow of the boat in the middle picture was across a highway outside the marina.

    Spot Light not moving

Just ordered that bulb from Amazon over the weekend and installed yesterday. HOLY COW! The difference is amazing! Thank you for the info!

    Spot Light not moving

I just pulled mine apart for the same reason. The functions haven’t worked in two years, but we’ve decided to “shelter in place” on the dock so it’s time to fix problems. Lots of corrosion in the switch. Cleaned it out and now works fine. Nic

    Bimini Club Sea Ray Meet????

I need to rebuild a velvet drive, but that sounds like a heck of a break in.

    WESTERBEKE 6.5 BCG

Mine did the same thing when I got my boat. It turned out to be a bolt holding an idle finger being loose on the carb.

Seconding this question. I'm about to go up from dinged up 3 blade to newly refreshed 4 blades.
