    Lake Michigan waves

In South Haven they are coming over the north pier and right across the south pier. It looks like a few boats have some damage. The boats at the SH Yacht club are taking a beating. THe 56 foot Sea Ray named Mutual Fun broke loose at the head dock in front of the Maritime Museum. She was put...

    Impeller / IAC

I do not know about your engines but will add to this thread about what happened to mine. I have 8.1s in my boat and the engine alarm was working overtime. After many trips from the mechanic the problem turned out to be a bad temp sensor in the one of the exhaust manifolds. It was giving a 240...

    South Haven Marinas

Quite a bit to do downtown in South Haven. If you are going to get a slip you should try the South Side with the city. You can walk downtown as it is less than a block and the beach is a long block the other way. We have Harborfest here in June which has the Dragon Boat races in the river. They...

Marina Cruise info Pentwater MI. & South?

Scott get a hold of Snug Harbor in Pentwater. Its a nice place and the people are friendly plus they have fuel. Sometimes they take a group and raft them off. They also have a lot of slips. The town is about a 3 minute walk from the Marina. Its quaint and quieter than a lot of the ports and a...

    Anyone with South Haven experience?

You need to get a slip here. Its not like Saugatuck as there is no place to anchor. For the ride up river take the dingy. You can go pretty far with it. Where do you keep your boat on Saugatuck? I am at Sargents. I have my business in South Haven (Johns Stereo) and live here.

    Anyone with South Haven experience?

I also live here. Its a good town to visit and if you can get a slip on the south side its an easy walk to town as its less than a block. Stop at Capt. Nemos for some Shermans ice cream. Clementines for lunch or dinner but be prepared to wait. Tellos for good Italian although a little more...

    Shrink wrap cost increase

We had a canvass cover for our 90 Sundancer. Used it for 11 seasons and spent 150.00 on repairs. It was well worth it. If you do not want to install it each year get a quote from the people who made it for you. Its not that much to have them install and you remove in the spring. Make sure you...
