Yes.
Take care of it. I like the carpet in my little boat, I find it easier to clean and maintain that scrubbing underneath.
It is nice on the feet on hot days and keeps the reflected heat and glare down.
I have to agree, I have the same engine in my 195 as described above and changed props to a merc high five....great for the water sports and very minimal loss of top end.
I have pulled two skiers/tubes with my 4.3mpi so I would venture to guess a 5.0 would do fine.
Strap a few outboard tanks onto you swim platform useing those cooler corner grip things. (I don't know what they are called) I have done that when heading out to a remote camp area with one tank JIC (and to haul gear) , out in the open, no worries about fume buildup, and not permanament. I have...
Ya know, I have a 195sport and am extremely happy with it. I do like the 205 however and if you compare the two there isn't a huge difference but there is some.
As you probably noticed online and as mentioned previous the 195 with the swim platform gives you lots of room back there....the 205...
I got a custom full storage cover made for my boat from Denam awnings....in Saskatoon Sask. Canada.
About 400 bucks for me but cheaper for you with exchange....they may have the dimentions for your boat...they have a website too...use google.
What happened was absolutely horrible.
I wish we could carry here in Canada but you cannot. Our government dosen't believe in our right to self defence as passonately as the good folk in the US do.
I have to keep my handgun in a quick access mini vault in my bedroom, and only use as a last...
I found that the high-five worked well in my favor as well. I did use the stock 3 blade and changed to the 5...having run the boat with both allowed me to see first hand the difference.
My 195 is the same as described above...it planes fast and with the high five prop and a hydrofoil it will plane in about 3-4 seconds....that was achieved with about 2/3 throttle and having the trim just right.....when the conditions are glassy...it feels faster but haven't really timmed it.
I inflate/deflate with a pump made for the recepticle in the boat...takes as mentioned above about 90 seconds for each.....tried tying down and such but am sticking to the inflate deflate for noe....not enough room with the tube secured anywhere on my 195.
