With a 2006 Sundancer 290, I want to add a Garmin echoMAP Chirp MFD primarily for the flexibility of the viewing angle (like standing) But from these posts, is it safe to assume I could not connect this new MFD (with depth sounding capabilities) to the existing original equipment transducer?

Hi. Am having issues with my left panel (2006 290 DA.) nothing responded last night, (no running lights particularily) but today certain combinations os button turned some lights on and off, and then didn't. What made you know your panel was the problem? Marty
