Thanks TNT. I removed the one screw I saw on the hinge but it didn't come out. Maybe there are two? I'll have to give it a closer look this weekend.

Vertifrigo owners... How do you switch the doors to the left side on your DP2600IXD4-F-2. My manual sites a different model for some reason. Do you have to take the trim off to access the hardware? Thank you. Andy

TNT, Thanks for the pictures and the website! I need to make this revision soon too. Problem is there are 20 different 10' swing nozzles from $12 to $130! Did you pick yours because of compatibility to the existing faucet or was it a quality thing? Thanks. Andy

Thanks Tom. That is great information. @ocgrant, if you have any pictures or addition information you'd be kind enough to share before I tackle this project, I would greatly appreciate your wisdom! Andy

Tom, Last question. Was it just the trim you had to open up or the entire width of the frame? Looks like the Vitrifrigo has a nice lip around the sides so should hide any cutting that needs to be done. Was it a pretty simple job? I imagine getting the old one out and the new one down was tight...

TNT, Did your Vitrifrigo fit exactly where your Norcold was or did you have to modify the trim? Did you get the right hand door swing? You mentioned below that you can get them either way. Thanks!

So if the vitrifrigos only open to the right, how does that work in the cramped space. Doesn't bother the 1st mate?

Thanks guys for your input. Does the Vitrifrigo have doors that open to the left like the Norcolds?

So have any of your wives taken a steak knife to your freezer ice to aid in the defrosting only to puncture the freon line in the bottom tray? I hope not, but if anyone has, please let me know what I'm looking at to fix/replace. Thanks.

I found this one on the Scadvik site. It is for a hot/cold system but you can purchase the spout separately. Neck reaches out 8-5/8".

What did you think about TNT's website: Scandvik, Inc.? Looks exactly what we need.
