The wife will be with, I picture her choking me if I got her caught in some weather lol.

Will be renting a 260 sundancer same I may purchase or may get the 280 and wondering anchor off a small island for swimming. Do the majority of boaters stay in position for the common passing storm, or try to outrun head back to port.

That's the boat I have my heart set on, or as large as I can go with a single drive..

As of now my plan is not to do much off shore fishing of trips to Key West.. But may change as time gets closer ...

They do have that in outboard I believe, is your reasoning if the outboard fails just replace and your done ?

Good point ,, as I read i don't see many with failed engines . Also didn't know you could fresh water flush an straight inboard.
