Seams a shame to part it out with all you have done to it and it's seemingly good condition.
If you should decide to part it out I would be very interested in the arch. Just pm me if you go that route please.
Thanks, First I was wondering were the Water fill is located on the side of the boat and how the fill tube is run.
Also if the label on the water tank had a part # on it.
Were is the Water pump located and if under the v birth can you hear it cycle on and off when sleeping?
This retrofit may be...

Thanks for the reply Blewbyyou88. On that tag on the Tank do you have a model number by chance?
Also any more pics of were the water pump is located and were is the water filler inlet located and the hose run? Any more help you may have would be much appreciated.
Nice setup with the microwave...
Thanks ten years gone. That may help, I'm looking for a parts diagram for that model and see if is the same tank. Unfortunately the Sea Ray web sight no longer has that year up on the web. Any chance anyone here have one?
I just got an email back from Sea Ray customer support and they said the Water tank is located up front when they add the generator but they have no drawings showing the configuration of the tank.
Don't know if this helps or not?
I have also had the thought of moving the water tank over to the stbd. side with the Water heater to counter balance the Genny. Could be adding work but may be better weight distribution??
Thanks for the pics Getaway. Interesting that on my boat the water tank is on the port and the Water heater is on the Stbd. Also When my water tank is empty the boat lists heavy to the stbd side. I would be concerned that if I relocated the water heater to the port it would not be enough weight...
Thanks for the response Getaway,
I would think that if they put the Water tank on the Strbd side with the hot water heater it would add to much weight to that side. I know when my Tank is empty the boat lists to the Stbd. I also looked at the drawings on the sea ray Web site and it shows the...
Hi all,
I am working on Relocating the fresh water tank as a winter project forward under the V birth. On looking at the Sea ray Parts catalog online it lists the part # as 116186. I am wondering if anyone knows the tank configuration and were exactly sear ray mounted it forward.
The reason...
I would suggest looking at a 4 blade for best cruise and pulling a skiier. You may want to really consider a solas 4 blade or a large diameter E series (i think) 3 blade. More blade area will help get that boat up and going.
What is the Horsepower in it?
I have Experiance with changes from both 3 and 4 blade props on that boat. On the 3 blades we went to the new X series prop from Michigan and had the best Results. Better top end and cruise. On the 4 blade also used X series and got better hole shot and cruise not much better top end. Both were...
Doug has a point there, Your top end is pretty respectable as is. Take the 23 you have and have a good prop shop pitch to a 22 and you should have a 4400 Rpm boat with good hole shot.
Be careful of anyone telling you those SS props can be repitched by 2 inches, It's a dead give away they don't...
I was wondering if anyone can tell me where I might find replacement hinges for the cabinet doors on an older 1989 sea ray. The hinges I have are recessed in the door and have (MSAS) stamped on them. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
CG.
What kind of boating do you do? Are you looking for a prop to pull skiers and cruise or are you looking for a top speed prop?
For cruise and power pulling skiers you may want to consider a 4 blade prop. For top end look at a 21 3 blade such as Solas Titan if still available or a mirage.
You can...
