Lake Sinclair...any restrictions on type of boat or size?

I am wondering the same thing!! Where to boat until Lanier is back up? We've done the TN River plenty and it is beautiful. It is just hard to get to for a quick ride on a Wednesday afternoon! I heard somewhere (news or paper) that it would take 800+ days to fill the lake back up with...

    lake lanier boating

We have a 280 and we keep her at Bald Ridge Marina. It is just off GA 400. The 280 does just fine out there, even on the weekends. Now yesterday we saw a 500 that looks like it would do a little better!!! Depending on where you are moving, there are several nice marinas! Let me...

    Actual Weight - 280 Sundancer

We pull a 2005 280, twins, genny, ac/heat, plenty of junk, with a 2004 Diesel Excursion or 2002 diesel F350 (not dually) on an magictilt trailer. They both pull pretty good, we only pull far (100+ miles) a couple times a year as we are in a wet slip the rest of the year. We have pulled it...

    Hello from Wisconsin

We had a 2000 240 and loved it! Matter of fact, our old boat just moved back on our dock a year after we sold it! She still looks great....besides the name change!

We went to the dock this afternoon and saw that the Oh Me! had taken up residency on our dock! It was our first Searay, a 2000 240 DA! It was very emotional seeing her there....docked with her new name...the Everclear! But it was really nice to see her and walk around and make sure they were...

    Cruiser decisions

No it does not! Our 240 did not have it either, with one engine! We went through some mean weather on the TN river on our 240 and it was fine. The 280 can handle the worst of weather on the Lake Lanier along with the masses of boats on a pretty day in the main channel. Sometimes the main...

    Cruiser decisions

We have the 280 with a genny and twins and LOVE IT! The boat before this was a 240 with no genny and a single engine. The move up has been perfect! The kids (9 & 13) get tired after awhile and will go in turn the ac on, watch a movie, cook in the microwave, all while we are on the hook...
