Is anyone staying at or have been to Trempealeau Marina (previously Sunset Bay) since American Marine acquired it? It was in pretty ruff shape, and fairly shallow at the entrance.
Tabman
I have a 2006 Sea Ray 300DA with the classic trim tab system. I believe the actuator used is A1101A.
A couple of weeks ago I cycle tested the both tabs to make sure the actuators were working properly prior to spring launch. I did not perform the 24 hr leak down test, I just tested 2...
Last year the pair hatched 3 eggs, and they all survived. This is the same cam and same eagle pair as last year, they returned to their old nest again, and they have 3 eggs. Here is the link, enjoy.

Has anyone experienced a Smartcraft fault 94 - "stbd pitot ckt lo" I changed the sensor that converts pitot pressure to an electrical output to smartcraft...checked the wire connections on the engine and on the speedometer.
After changing the sensor (it is the correct 100 psi sensor p/n...
A few months back I learned that we are so stupid that EPA mandates what kind of new gas containers we buy....Well, today I went to look at a new lawn mower (Toro self propelled walk behind type). What the hell...no throttles or chokes? Just grip it and rip it on the starter rope (unless you...
How much snow do you guys have left in the St Croix river basin and upstream to MPLS? I have heard flood predictions of 21 ft in our pool...flood stage for Pool 10 is 15 ft.
The website I watch for water levels doesn't show any hint of flooding. Which makes me think your snow melt hasn't...
This eagle is setting on a nest (with atleast one egg) near Decorah, Iowa I hope the link works...pretty neat eagle cam.

Tom,
I use magnesium anodes on my Bravo 3 drives (fresh water application). I believe the original anode on my trim tabs are zinc. Is there a magnesium replacement? OR Does it make any difference which annode is used on the trim tab? The original zincs don't appear to wear much from year to...
This skipper and his crew member are pumpin water, cranking some R's, and pulling some G's...in a jet boat! Talk about a water craft hooked up. :wow: damn

After I poured gas all over my boots (cheap plastic gas container with a leaking cap with no gasket) while filling my snowblower, I decided it was time to find a new gas can.
I went to a local farm & fleet store and found more cheap made plastic containers with gimmicky pour spouts...or a $35...
I confess, I am a Christmas Story movie junkie...I can't help it. I got so amped up for it this year, I even changed my avatar.
My two favorite lines: after the delivery of the major award crate, the ole man spells out, F-R-A-G-I-L-E, huh, must be Italian. and...."Don't anybody move...a...
Has anyone ever attended one of the auctions? My tv spends its share of time on the Speed Channel...last night they sold a Mustang Daytona pace car for $300,000 as part of a kids charity auction. If nothing else, it looks like it would be one hell of a car show to attend....may add this to my...
Has anyone mastered the art of crabbing with twin I/O's? (without Axius) I've tried but think this is only done with inboards or with the joy stick stuff.
For some reason, pontoon, canbote, and tooner boats have infested the upper Mississippi this summer, more so than past summers...
Forget the rules for navigation, they don't seem to apply to the majority of them. Forget horns, vhf radios, many don't even have VHF antennaes... About every...
Last weekend we had perfect weather for spending the night on the hook. As night fell on one of our favorite anchorages, we noticed that several boats were gathering about a mile upstream. I noted one boat that had its nav lights on but didn't appear to be moving...odd I thought, maybe they...
What a hell of a feeling...I throttled up to get on plane, started to pull back to settle in to cruise, and the boat starts to roll to port. I looked at my sync gauge, port was at 3500 and stbd was still churning at 3850 rpm. I pulled the stbd lever back to neutral, and it remained at 3850. I...
My search came up empty....Who has backflushed their heat exchanger on a 5E? I'm certain there are a few impeller vanes in mine. I hope it can be backflushed without removing it from the gen set...
First let me say my experience here is in fresh water ( Mississippi River) if you're in salt water, your experience may differ.
As part of my annual replacement of drive annodes for my B3's, I take a little extra time to make certain both of my Mercathode Reference Electrodes are in shape for...
Has anyone attempted this knuckle skinning process? I looked mine over last fall when I winterized...just how difficult is it to get at the plugs? I am at the 200 hr service interval...so it is time. If anyone has hired it done...what was the length of time spent in labor?
