Hi - My name is Nick
I'm interested in by-passing my port side switch pads EIM. The panel died and I cannot get into my engine compartment. I thought I would just put a switch on it with a fuse and tuck it into that compartment under the helm. First question is do i need power or do I just need...
Hi - Would you be able to help me try and bypass the switch pad? I just need to open the engine compartment. Then i don't need the blower and can worry about this over the winter..
I only need the Port side, I think you have someone here for the Starboard side? I am willing to buy the entire thing if necessary!! Gotta have it
I would even drive to NJ on the 24th to pick it up....
Kinda desperate as I cannot get into my engine room without it!

So its been sitting outside in the elements uncovered for years....don't know much about TN weather, but if it gets below freezing much you can just forget about it. Although I would suspect you could sell the motor and trailer.
Sorry for another question on this, I'm a little bit of a novice when it comes to electrical. Plugging this into the cig lighter (just to get ER open) won't blow the fuse while trying to start engine would, and this because of the different amps they draw correct?
With boats mistakes tend to...
Thanks everyone for their input. I think I may be more concerned then most regarding the genny because of my experience on a mooring where you cannot keep the batteries as topped off as you can on shore power. I think this season I am going to start with new batteries and monitor them, see what...
Awesome, I will definitely try that out as soon as we put in this year. Not being able to go to the beach is a BIG drawback at the other place. Kids love going to a beach!
Ok, it seemed obvious to me. Sea Ray seems to have such a well engineered boat ('04 32) that I assumed there was a reason not to do it...
Does anyone have any advice/pic's if I decide to attempt this myself?
Hi -
Is their a reason to not have an extra battery installed just for a genny? I like to hang out for hours with the radio on and the fridge keeping my beverages/lunch/dinner cold. I am always worried about killing the battery and not being able to start the engines. I cant for the life of me...
Where in Lindenhurst did you both stay? I was at Marine Max for the time I was there. I was on a mooring at Gold Star Beach in Huntington a season ago, but will be at West Shore Marina this year.
I like the Coast Guard cove at Eatons Neck, is the Sand Hole much harder an approach then that? I...
You know what I liked the most about keeping it close to home? My wife saying things like "go right to the boat from the train, the kids and I will bring a pizza and meet you there" on a weeknight!
But, yeah, we may end up back on south shore at some point. In my old age I'd love to own home on...
We did that for 3 years and Loved it....but with the kids activities we found ourselves not getting out as much as we would like. You know, if basketball ends at 12pm are you then going to pack up and drive 45 minutes to the boat? Just didn't work. I miss Hemlock Cove and weekends at Watch Hill...
Hi everyone -
Proud owner of an '06 320 Sundancer. This is our third year with her and about our 6th season boating. We spent the first three years on the South Shore of Long Island but have since moved to North shore. Wow, totally different boating, we are still learning everyday out there...
